The training provided thoughout the second year of the CTD graduate programme consists in the consolidation of the knowledge acquired during the first year, with the goal of achieving a level of expertise in the field of connective tissue diseases.
Students develop and strengthen this theoretical expertise through a solid clinical and scientific training within a renowned network of excellence.
This immersive professional experience within an international clinical and scientific crew will further facilitate the acquisition of transversal and intercultural skills.
Year two:
- EULAR online course on systemic scleroderma – SSc: 100h / 8 ECTS
- EULAR online course on paediatric rheumatology: 80h / 8 ECTS
- EULAR online course on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus - SLE: 100h / 8 ECTS
- two seminars on systemic scleroderma – network of reference and expertise centres for rare diseases: 40h / 3 ECTS
- 10 webinars on auto-immune diseases (FAI2R) : 30h / 3 ECTS
- French as a foreign language (or scientific English for French-speaking students): 20h / 2 ECTS
- six months’ professional training within a hospital department accredited by the European Union (ERN ReCONNET network) followed by a thesis and the defense of a clinical research project presented as an article ready for submission: 28 ECTS
